AOOS Research

The Alaska Ocean Observing System (AOOS) is compiling data and information pertaining to all of the oceans surrounding Alaska. This aids researchers in understanding how water circulates through the region, how animals function within each ecosystem, and how these might change in different climate conditions. AOOS also provides information about current weather conditions and warnings, tides, and fish catches. This is useful to a variety of people.
